Casablanca Morocco tour 10 days itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Casablanca drive to Rabat
Arrive at the Casablanca airport, where we will greet you and begin 10 days from Casablanca Morocco Tour. Drive to Casablanca first, then to Rabat, the Moroccan capital. The largest mosque outside of Mecca, the Hassan II Mosque, is located in Casablanca. Where you can also see the Cornish seaside. We will then depart for Rabat. Before you check into your riad in the Medina, you may see the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah here. Finally, spend the night and breakfast at a riad.
Day 2: RABAT – MEKNES – FES :
You will depart from your riad after breakfast and travel to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes. Meknes, another important Moroccan royal city. In actuality, it is referred to be Morocco’s Ismaili capital. The Sahrij Souani Bassin, also known as the historic gate Bab Mansour, is located there. Mulay Ismail Mausoleum is another. Then, following lunch, you continue your journey to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Where you may admire the exquisitely preserved original mosaics, Roman road, and city plan. We’ll stop at the Holy City of Moulay Idriss for a photo opportunity as we proceed through rural Morocco. At the end of the afternoon, you will arrive in Fes and check into your riad in the Medina. Day 3: FES DISCOVERY
After breakfast in your riad, begin your 10-day tour from Casablanca. This will be an exploratory stroll into the Medina where you will see many hidden gems that only the locals are aware of. First of all, Fes, which houses the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest continuously operational university in the world, served as Morocco’s capital for more than 350 years. As a result, your guided tour will take you to the Tanneries, the Nejjarine Fountains, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum.
Following lunch, you will stroll through the renowned Jewish neighborhood known as “the Mellah” and see the outside of the Royal Palace. There, you will have the option of visiting one of Morocco’s few still-operational synagogues. A brief stop at the well-known ceramic factory is also included in your tour of Fes, after which you can gaze out over the entire Medina of Fes in awe. Finally, we will go to the new city for a drink in the late afternoon. Accommodations for the night at your riad.
Day 4: FES – AZROU – MIDLET – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA :
After breakfast in your riad, begin your 10 days from Casablanca Morocco Tour. Day 5: MERZOUGA Tour AND CAMEL RIDE
You will therefore begin your exploration of the area after breakfast in the riad. In order to experience the music and way of life of the Gnawa people, who were originally brought from Sudan as slaves, you will visit them on this 10-day vacation from Casablanca. You can also go to the souk in Rissani, a historic town that was the birthplace of the Moroccan royal dynasty and the meeting location for the caravans that traded all the way to Tombuctou in Mali. Many hooded men and veiled women can be seen here. After returning to Merzouga village for some relaxation, you will mount your camel and be led by an expert camel man as you explore the Merzouga sand sea. Next, we’ll spend the night at our desert camp.
Day 6: MERZOUGA – RISSANE – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY :
Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning so you may witness what might be the best sunrise of your life. You’ll walk back to Merzouga village. You can’t help but be in awe of the beautiful Erg Chebbi sand dunes as you go since they change with the light throughout the day. You will depart for the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges after having breakfast and taking a shower in your riad. because they are Morocco’s tallest and narrowest canyons. Day 7: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE– ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH :
We’ll travel through the Dades Valley on our way to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat after breakfast. The journey through Dades Valley is known as the “Way of the Thousand Kasbahs,” and it offers many opportunity to capture some of your best travel photography. We’ll make a detour in the “rose city,” Kalaat Mgouna, to buy rosewater, which will leave your linen smelling fresh for a long time after your trip is done. From Casablanca Sahara Tours.
Continue your 10-day trip to Marrakech through the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Built in the 18th century by Et Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains. The Kasbah is now home to a large Glaoui population. Your 10-day vacation will then proceed across the magnificent Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains before you reach your Marrakech lodging. In the end, spend the night at the riad in the medina.
Day 8: EXPLORING MARRAKECH
You will take part in a morning guided tour of Marrakech, “the Red City of Morocco,” following breakfast in the riad. Your guide will therefore make sure that you see all the places of historical and cultural interest, such as the Ben Youssef Coranic School, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, and the lovely Palace of Bahia. Before reaching the well-known Jamaa El Fna Square, finish the morning by strolling through the medina’s alleyways and getting a chance to view all of the many artisans at work.
Lunch should be had at a restaurant close to the square, followed by a visit to the Majorelle Gardens and a quick tour of Gueliz, Marrakech’s new city, in the afternoon. You can choose to take a stroll through the square after supper and be entertained by magicians, storytellers, tooth pullers, and food vendors. Last but not least, you will spend the night in your riad.
Day 9: DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA MOGADOR :
You will begin traveling to the coastal city of Essaouira after breakfast in your riad. Enjoy your 10-day trip beginning in Casablanca, arriving after a 2-1/2 hour drive to begin visiting the city. You’ll first go to the Skala Fortress and observe craftsmen carve Thuya wood there. Additionally, go through the medina’s alleyways to see hundreds of handmade items. Surfers from all over the world travel to this “City of the Wind.” Essaouira actually had a variety of civilizations, including the Portuguese conquest, which had a major impact on much of its architecture. It is still a little village with a rich history, nonetheless. due to its size, distinctive blue doors, and washed walls.
Additionally, you will go to the Argan oil women’s cooperative. Here, the oil that is valued for its therapeutic, cosmetic, and culinary uses is extracted. Day 10: MARRAKECH OR CASABLANCA AIRPORT
We will transport you to the Casablanca/Marrakech airport for your flight back home following an early breakfast in your riad. At the airport, your 10 days from Casablanca Morocco Tour comes to an end.
