3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech itinerary
Day 1: Fes to Merzouga
Around 8:00 a.m., your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad. He or she will then drive you for eight hours through the Sahara, Azrou, Midelt, and Ziz gorges. Over the Middle Atlas mountains, and through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco). Through the Middle Atlas mountains, and through the cedar forests of Azrou. The camels will be waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes once we’ve had a chance to unwind at Merzouga for a short while. After walking to a high dune to witness an amazing sunset, we will spend the night in a camp with all the amenities and music of the nomads in the middle of the Sahara.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Tinghir – Dades Valley
Get up early for beautiful sunrise photos and an outside breakfast. We ride camels back to the hotel to have a shower. Then, we drive to Erfoud, which is well-known for its preparation of fossils. Drive past plantations of palm trees. After stopping for lunch, we proceed to the Todra Gorges for a brief stroll.
We move toward Boumalne de Dades, where we will stop. Dinner and a hotel stay are included.
Day 3: Dades – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou – Marrakech
Before leaving for Marrakech, we will go for a brief hike in the gorges after breakfast. We will travel via El Kelaa Magouna, the Valley of the Roses. And the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs as we follow the Dades Valley. Stop for lunch in the village of Ait Ben Hadou after our excursion to Ouarzazate. We will have time to tour the well-known UNESCO World Heritage Site. Which served as the backdrop for a number of movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. To get to Marrakech, we’ll drive across the Tichka pass.
