4 days desert tour from Agadir to Marrakech, we’ll begin by traveling from Agadir to Merzouga Desert through “Taroudant and Ouarzazate.” You’ll learn about “Taroudant,” and as we proceed. The kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll learn about a lot more sites. Driving towards Ouarzazate, we will get there then spend the night in a typical riad.
Next day, we will go to Merzouga in the Sahara Desert along with many other stunning locations. Valley of the Roses, Todra Gorge. Once we get in Merzouga, you will only have one day to spend in your desert camp. Where you may take in the dawn and sunset. We will go to Merzouga Desert, FROM Agdez through (Rissani, Alnif, and Nkob). 4 days desert tour from Agadir to Marrakech itinerary:
Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant- Draa Valley – Agdez
At the airport or your lodging in Agadir, our driver or guide will meet you. You will be leaving the Atlantic Coast behind, as you go over the Anti Atlas Mountains from the bright south west. Some of the villages you’ll pass through have significant artisanal and natural product industries; for example. Taznakhte is home to some of the best handmade carpets that are distinctive of that area. Taliouine is Morocco’s saffron capital. The Draa Valley, which runs between Agdz, and the far-off sands of the Sahara, will then come into view. You will eat supper and have breakfast while staying the night in Agdz.
Day 2: Agdez – Rissani – Merzouga – Camel ride – Night in the desert camp
From Agdez, you must travel to the east over wide plains and kasbah-filled settlements in order to reach Rissani, the final retail location for desert dwellers. As you approach the Sahara, the route curves south, bringing you closer to the red sand dunes. Your camels will be waiting for you in the little village of Merzouga. Once ready, you will ride over the sand dunes to your tent in the desert, where you will spend the night and have breakfast and dinner. Around the campfire, local music will be performed, and as the stars appear all around you, you’ll be filled with wonder.
Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
After checking into a hotel for breakfast and some downtime, we’ll continue our desert excursion to view the sunrise before moving on to Ouarzazate. Along the journey, we’ll make stops at the Berber settlements and the Todra & Dades Gorge. We’re going to spend the night in a local motel in Dades Valley.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Tizi-n-Tichk – Marrakech
Following breakfast, we’ll continue our 4 days desert tour from Agadir to Marrakech toward Ouarzazate through the Route des Mille Kasbahs (fortresses), stopping in Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, which is well-known for its yearly Rose Festival. Our next stop is the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco World Heritage site that has served as a filming location for numerous Hollywood productions, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and the renowned HBO series Game of Thrones.
