Day 1: Casablanca Airport

Day 2: Casablanca to Chefchaouen via Capital Rabat

Day 3: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis

You will journey through the breathtaking Ziz Gorge and the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass, taking in views of the High Atlas plateau and observing how the landscape transforms as you reach the province of the south-east Errachidia city. After that, you’ll go to Erfoud and Rissani along the magnificent Ziz Valley, stopping along the way for panoramic vistas. When you get at Merzouga in the afternoon, a drink of mint tea will be waiting for you. Take a camel ride across the Merzouga Sahara Desert dunes to get to the tent where you will spend the night. You should bring a backpack with you so you can carry it over camels since camels cannot carry all of your belongings.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

The dawn over the sand dunes of the Sahara Erg Chebbi dunes will likely be the best sunrise of your life, so you should get up early to see it. You will eat a Berber breakfast in the camp following a beautiful sunrise over sand dunes. After that, you’ll return to Merzouga hamlet on a calm camel trip. You can’t help but be in awe of the beautiful Erg Chebbi sand dunes as you go since they change with the light throughout the day. Then you’ll set out for Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorges, Rissani, Tinghir, and Todgha. We’ll drive into the Dades Valley after lunch in the valley, where you can see the magnificent sand castles and the remarkable rock formations known as “monkey toes.” The overnight lodging will be at a posh guest home with breakfast and dinner overlooking the Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Tizi-n-Tichka – Marrakech

You will begin your journey via the Dades Valley to Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech after breakfast in your lodging. The “way of the thousand Kasbahs” that runs through Dades Valley offers many opportunity to capture some of your best travel photography. If you choose, you can visit the cooperative for roses in Kalaat M’Gouna, the heart of the rose valley, and buy rosewater, which will leave your linen smelling fresh for a long time after your trip is finished.

Follow the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah all the way to Marrakech. Day 8: Sightseeing in Marrakech
